We are humbled by the feedback we’ve received recently from Telstra for a project we completed for them.
Telstra engaged Marrawah Law to conduct an independent risk assessment and compliance review with specific focus on processes, policies and capabilities supporting First Nations peoples.
Throughout the risk assessment Marrawah Law were detailed in their investigations, and collaborative in their approach to sharing findings. The team was responsive, available and open to best practice ways of collaborating, including enabling the sharing of large volumes of documents via their database.
The final Risk Assessment Report completed in May 2022 was clear, and the detailed recommendations enabled Telstra to understand the intent of the recommendations, while still having flexibility with how they could be addressed. The Marrawah Law team also provided general observations and suggestions that Telstra may wish to consider, in line with its ongoing commitment to improving its engagement with First Nations Consumers.
The Marrawah Law team brought a unique and authentic perspective on First Nations matters in corporate Australia, and this was evident in their final report and recommendations.
