Marrawah Law represents two members of the Gunaikurnai Land and Waters Aboriginal Corporation (GLaWAC) in the Boonwurrung peoples native title determination application (VID363/2020). Marrawah Law has taken witness statements from senior members of the Gunaikurnai community, drafted submissions and substantive responses, promptly meeting court imposed deadlines. Marrawah Law attended hearings on Country in 2022 as well as at the Melbourne Federal Court registry in 2023. We have worked closely and effectively with GLaWAC and counsel to ensure our clients interests have been protected throughout the proceeding. Our representation is funded by FNLRS.
