Why we are proud to be a Supply Nation certified Indigenous business
As I reflect on 2020 and the year that was, I am particularly proud of the outcomes we have generated through our continued involvement with Supply Nation. Since it was established in 2009, Supply Nation has grown to support thousands of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses.
The growth of these I businesses does more than generate economic return and employment, it generates pride and independence and the opportunity to create positive future for business owners, their families and communities.
Supply Nation’s Sleeping Giant report https://lnkd.in/gMBGEY6
highlights these benefits and uses the Social Return on Investment (SROI) assessments to analyse the value created by Indigenous businesses for their stakeholders; to identify the social change created by a project or organisation and assign it a dollar value. For the five Supply Nation Certified Suppliers profiled in the study, the SROI averaged $4.41 for every dollar of revenue. I commend this report to all of our Indigenous, Corporate and Government clients as it shows the extended value of partnering with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses.
